11th Australasian Permaculture Convergence (APC11)
The Australasian Permaculture Convergence (APC11) is almost here. This year it's being held in Turangi, NZ from April 11 - 15th. We just received word that registrations close April 1st, so there's still a few days left for anyone interested.

AGM Wrap Up and the New Committee
Last weekend PermacultureWest had its AGM at City Farm. Thanks to those of you that came along, presented your ideas and thoughts and support, and thanks to City Farm for a central venue and excellent market backdrop.
PermacultureWest 2011 AGM Announcement
REMINDER : ) This years AGM will be held on Saturday the 22nd of October at 9:30AM at City Farm (City Farm Rd East Perth) in the white market space building. We will then have a panel discussion of permaculture concepts and methods with a focus on Q&A from the open audience and enjoy the City Farms Organic Farmers Markets and Cafe outside.

Bringing Sustainablity and Sensibility to the Royal Show
PermacultureWest has been invited by Conservation and Landcare to setup a sustainable living and demonstration food production oriented backyard to enlighten and inspire those looking to make lighter footprints on the earth. Working with EMRC we will be presenting talks/workshops daily every hour (9-4), and a visual and mental feast of sustainability, permaculture design and good ole fashion common sense ideas. See below for workshop timetables and backyard preliminary plans.
IPC 10 - Jordan begins!
The 10th International Permaculture Conference (IPC 10) is about to begin in Jordan. While few of us have the opportunity to attend, like local permie Harry Wykman, they will be streaming the talks live and making them available for download later. This is great news for the rest of us!
National LETS Conference

National Permaculture Day Crowds at Lockridge
Thanks to everyone who came down and to all those that helped organise another great re-skilling and community building event by PermacultureWest. Thanks to the Lockridge Community garden crew, and remember they are re-skilling people every week and hold workshops on the first Sunday of the month.
