Enews Team – Calling You
Our new Enews team will be meeting this Sunday 16th Feb 2-4pm to set up our team structure and brainstorm ideas and article for the first enews and how to keep the PW website up to date.
The 4-5 strong team gives us a great editing capacity but we are looking for the community’s news and experiences.
We want to connect WA with urban and regional stories, providing inspiration, entertainment and peer networking to reduce the feeling of isolation amongst those looking to consume less and get back in touch with natural rhythms.
With enough material we can produce a digital magazine each quarter of solid helpful local content on all things sustainable, green and permaculture in WA. In order to do it we need your help, as lots of articles from the same people is not a good read and presents a limited view point. We are happy to be the judge of wether something is news worthy if you want that support and will help you edit your articles prior to printing.
Everyone has information and learning to offer you just need to find the confidence and a little time to document the story.
PermacultureWest has more people starting in the beginning of their journey to a better life, than skilled permaculturists, so we are after everyday stories of people starting gardens, preserving food, retrofitting their homes, visiting farmer’s markets, buying a block of land in the hills, setting up animals, and that sort of thing.
We will help you write the story just start sharing your experiences with us.
Please contact us on enews@permaculturewest.org.au if you would like to join us on the team or attend the meeting, or be a source of one or more articles, classifieds, etc.
