Sustainability Day and The Grove Water Wise Planting Day
The PermacultureWest traveling road show will have a display and be chatting to people at the following events to spread all those great permie ideas, knowledge and designs to the mainstream.
On Saturday 14th May come down and enjoy a free day (10:30-4pm) of talks, demos and workshops by Chris Farera, Peter Coppin, and other knowledgeable garden industry folks at, The Great Gardens Sustainability Day in Forrest Place and Murray St.
UPDATE: PermacultureWest was planning to run a stall at this event but a few last minute hiccups means we won’t be able to now. However, that shouldn’t stop you attending as it still looks quite interesting (watch the video below).
And the next weekend.
The Grove Water Wise Planting Day 21st May supported by Josh Bryne. The event program will showcase The Grove’s environmental features and water conservation strategies, and include hands-on planting with Western Australian plants and guided site tours with Josh, live entertainment, market stalls and fun activities for the whole family. There will also be a range of talks and activities run by Millennium Kids and Slow Food running alongside this community event.

These are both great opportunities for bringing Permaculture and permie ideas to the mainstream, so drop in and say hi, or help us out on the stall.
