Looking for Webinar Presenters

For nearly 3 years, PermacultureWest has presented a series of webinars to share knowledge from some of the fantastic people in our community. We have learned about:

  • Bringing Permaculture into the Community
  • Basic and advanced seed-saving
  • Household fruit production
  • Easy composting
  • Building biologically healthy soil
  • Tree hollows and nest boxes for our wildlife
  • Creating an abundant food garden in an urban yard with permaculture
  • Hot composting and humane
  • Autumn Frenzy (in short for when to plant what, preparing the soil, pest management, plant nutrition, direct seeding and raising seedlings, companions and rotations, soil building cover crop combos)
  • Geographic Community, Social Connection, Sustainability And Resilience
  • Bushfire Protection for the Home and Garden

At only $5 for PermacultureWest members and $10 for non-members, we have reached and engaged an audience far wider than we first expected – at least 310 attendees!

Webinars cannot replace the advantages and wonderful interactions you get at face-to-face workshops. But it helps for some of us who cannot always travel to the location.

We’re looking to fill our 2024 and 2025 calendars with more valuable knowledge and wisdom, and YOU can help us! There are 2 ways that you can get involved with this awesome webinar series:

  • Complete the linked form below to let us know what topics you would like to see presented.
There are suggestions for you to choose from, as well as a spot to make your suggestions.
  • Be a presenter! If you know a lot about a certain topic, you can help the people in our community to broaden their knowledge too! Presenting in an online webinar is great fun AND it’s a paid gig! You can promote your business or workplace, and the real winner is the permaculture movement, as we share knowledge, and apply it to our lives, we all benefit from it.

For both topics and presenters, please use this link to let us know: https://forms.gle/rX9RUhezNFVxwvFJA

To be a presenter, you DON’T have to be a “qualified professional”. You may have been gathering knowledge in your particular field of interest, and after a while, you’ve developed quite a strong wealth of knowledge, application and experience. That’s what we want!

If you have no technical or presenting experience, that’s ok! We can provide support where necessary.

We know that within our community we have some well-experienced people that have decades – even a lifetime – of experience, and we want to help share your topic. If you know someone that can teach us a thing or two – let us know! The attendees are always appreciative.
